Frequently Asked Questions

  • For all new clients, once familiar with our website and have read over the information offered here, you may use the New Client Request Form button on all pages of the website. Please fill out the form with as much detail as possible to expedite your request and to avoid needless emails back and forth.

  • This visit should ideally be scheduled at least one week prior to your departure date.  The visit usually lasts approximately 30 minutes and will provide time for you to show the sitter where all your pets, food, litter boxes and supplies are located. This will also give the sitter and your pet time to get to know each other.  After the meet and greet, an email will be sent with instructions on how to set up your online client portal. 

    What the sitter will need from you at the Meet and Greet:

    • Please be prepared to go over any alarm systems or security measures regarding your home. 

    • The client must also have 2 copies of the keys for the sitter at this visit. If an additional trip is needed to pickup the keys, the client will be charged a trip charge of $5 each.

    • A copy of your pets’ Rabies vaccination records and microchip numbers will need to be given to the sitter.

    • Any other useful information for the sitter to have while you are away.  For example, emergency instructions and anyone else who will have access to the house while you are away.

  • We proudly serve all phases of FishHawk Ranch, Lithia, FL and River Hills, Valrico, FL

  • Dogs, cats, caged pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs, fish, and reptiles.

  • Vacation sits and mid-day dog walks start at $19 per visit. Cat visits start at $14 per visit. You can view all pricing on the Rates page.

  • Your pet sitting experience can be completely customized to meet you and your pet’s specific needs! For example, you may choose to schedule one (1) visit per day on your day of departure or return, and three (3) visits each day in between.

    There is no schedule set in stone, it is entirely up to you, and what you feel would work best for your pet! For the health and safety of your pets, a minimum of 2 standard visits a day for dogs and one quick visit a day for cats during a 24-hour period is required, with the exception of your travel days.

  • We accept cash, checks, credit & debit cards, and PayPal. Cards are accepted directly via our online invoice system and NPLH will absorb the fees in order to process payments using this method. Payment is due on or before the first day of service. Holiday reservations require a 50% deposit to hold your spot and we follow a strict cancellation policy.
