Using an in-home pet care service is an excellent alternative to boarding your pets while you are away. It is now known that pets feel more secure and adapt more readily to being away from you when they are in the comfort of their own homes.
No Place Like Home Pet Sitting, LLC offers top quality in-your-home pet care that can be tailored to your pet’s individual needs always with your pets’ best interest in mind.
Initial client consultation is complimentary and lasts approximately 30 minutes. We recommend filling out the online New Client Request Form as early as possible to arrange for a “consult” visit so we can meet you and your pets.
At this meeting, we will get to know your pets and establish the routine you would like for us to follow. The Service Contract and any other important information necessary is all online via our state of the art, user-friendly client software program. Once we have established that we are a good fit for one another, instructions will then be emailed to you on how to set up and access your private client portal. We also recommend that you have 2 keys available for this meeting to avoid a future key pick up and drop off charge, if we need to return at a later date. If garage keypad access is available, then only one key is necessary.
We ask for as much notice as possible to schedule a new client Meet and Greet, as ample time is needed to rearrange our schedules to meet with you and your fur-babies. An “URGENT” Meet and Greet fee of $10 will be accessed on requests of less than 48 hours.
Our rates listed are best used as a guide and are completely tailored to you and your pet’s individual needs. Since some pets require more attention than others, we offer several different options for you to choose, as you the owner know your pets best and can assess which option is right for your situation. We charge by the time it takes to complete the visit safely and effectively for everyone involved, and not by the number of pets in the home or whether we need to administer medication.
Our mission is to provide the best care at a competitive rate, but our primary focus is your pet’s happiness and comfort! All playtime, exercising, feeding, and regular cleanup is included in all of the rates.
Visits range from a Quick Visit lasting 15 minutes to a VIP Visit lasting approximately 60 minutes. All visits are done in your home only. Please note: We are not insured for and do not offer “in our home” boarding.
These mid day visits are 30-minute walks and/or exercise out of the home or crate, when you are working long hours or are gone for the day. $19/visit
Please note: Dog walking services are not available on major holidays, as these visits are reserved for vacation/traveling clients.
Mid-day dog walks are guaranteed within a two hour time window (1 hour for puppies under 6 months old). Due to the volume of mid-day clients we have, we cannot commit to an exact time, therefore a window will be established at the initial meet and greet. During the summer months, walks may be shortened due to heat and inclement weather, however, quality time will be spent with your four legged friend in your home. We do not want a dog to suffer from heat exhaustion or burnt paws from walking on scorching hot pavement and will discuss in detail all aspects of safety at the consultation.
For safety reasons, only two dogs from the same household may be walked at the same time. If you have more than two dogs, each pair of dogs will be walked separately. Your dog(s) must be generally controllable while on a leash and you must provide a regular 4-6ft leash – we will not use a Flexi (retractable) leash. Harnesses are recommend for dogs who pull or those dogs who are prone to escaping out of their collars. Doggie bags must also be provided.
Recurring dog walking services are billed on a monthly basis up front and payment is due on day 1 of service for the month. Notice of cancellation is required by 9pm the day before service in order to receive a credit for that day. There is no charge for dog walking during a regular pet sitting visit, if desired.
During inclement weather, like heavy rain and/or lightning, we will only be able to give a quick potty break outside the home. The rest of the time will be spent playing indoors.
These quick visits are ideal for puppies/dogs that only need a quick potty break when you are working long hours or are gone for the day ONLY. $14/visit
Please note: These visits may not be substituted for standard canine vacation pet sitting visits. **Single potty break visits are not available on holidays, as these visits are reserved for vacation/traveling clients. Pet sitting services are available on major holidays, however, please understand so that you can spend the holidays away with family and friends, we are working long hours away from our families to provide quality care for your pets.
For that reason, the below referenced holiday dates incur a per visit surcharge of $5-$7, in addition to the regular visit rate, depending on the time of booking. Holiday surcharges apply to the following observed holidays: New Year’s Day (Jan. 1st), Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth Of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve (Dec. 24th), Christmas Day (Dec. 25th), and New Year’s Eve.
All holiday reservations require a 50% deposit in order to hold your reservation. Please understand that we only have a limited number of spots available during the holidays and once we are booked, we must turn away others in order to maintain a high level of care.
Due to this, we must enforce a cancellation policy. Holiday cancellation policy is as follows: 15 days notice or more prior to day one of service – 100% refund. 7-14 days notice – 50% refund. 6 days or less notice results in NO refund.
